Pick Your Own How to Find Us Butchers Counter
The farm shop is part of a small family business owned and run by the Lea family.  We sold our first pick your own (pyo) strawberries in the long hot summer of 1976.

In 1991 farming had entered another depression and it was decided to try and open a farm shop on the pyo site.  The aim to try and sell our own free range eggs, potatoes, beef and lamb direct to the public. This was complimented by a small range of local produce and Mums home made cakes.
The farm shop has grown steadily since 1991 and
on 30th April 2004 the present purpose built shop was opened by the Mayor of Rugby.
On the 1st October 2007 we opened a butchers counter and coffee shop. Both of which are run as an integral part of the business. So that the beef, lamb and pork on sale at the butchers counter is reared on our farm.  The cottage pie in the coffee shop is made with our beef, the sausages at breakfast are made with our pork and the fruit smoothies are made using our fruit.

                The new shop :

          • Extensive range of plants & shrubs grown in our new glasshouse
          • Our own Gloucester Old Spot Pork
          • All major credit & debit cards accepted.
Our Mission

Shortly before we opened back in 1991 the village shop/post office had closed it soon became clear to us that our shop was providing a necessary local service.  Over the last decade many rural locations across the country have lost village shops.  The village shop provides a cornerstone of the local community.  The decline is due largely to the relentless rise of the supermarket.
This knowledge has shaped the way our  farm shop has developed.  We hope to provide all the essentials for a weekly food shop in a rural location.  The difference is that we look to stock produce that you will not find in a supermarket.  We believe in the reduction of food miles.  So alongside our own produce you will find a wide range of produce from  local farms and cottage industries.  This policy not only reduces the distance food has travelled but benefits the rural economy.
